Meet Talia, Founder of The Pilates Space. Quoting Joseph Pilates “movement heals” Talia loves that Pilates promotes free effortless movement. When creating The Pilates Space, Talia wanted to design a studio that embodied this, Inspiring people from all ages to move but most importantly have fun doing it. Talia is a bag of mixed trades and has been working in the fitness industry since 2014. From her very first Reformer Pilates Class as a client she was hooked and knew that’s where her true passion lied and wanted to share it with the world. Talia like to make her classes fun, interactive and challenging. Stating that her favourite thing about being an instructor is “watching people gain confidence not only in exercising but in life. Movement really brings joy and it’s an amazing experience to be able to help someone discover it” Talia’s like to push each client individually and help them discover their full potential. Expect Talia’s classes to be loud, fun, technical and sweaty. Qualifications- - Breathe Educations IV in Pilates (Mat and Reformer Pilates) - Taube Pilates, Pre and Post Natal certified. - Certificate III and IV in Fitness - Level 1 Strength and Conditioning coach

Meet Renee, our studio assistant co-ordinator, smiling assassin and former Professional Figure Skater. Renee found her love for Pilates after a Potentially career ending accident on the ice in 2012. Pilates became part of her rehabilitation program and not only enabled Renee to return to the sport she loved but also to advance in skating to become and Australian National Champion and win a bronze medal. Renee represented Australia around the world in 7 competitions. Renee credits Pilates as the perfect balanced workout and whole heartily believes in the benefits it can bring to everyone. Taking a balanced approach when she designs her classes, they are the perfect mix of challenging and restorative. Her Classes are personal, engaging and she takes the time to get to know you and your body, offering the helping the hand you need or that extra push! You can’t help but leave without feeling balanced, renewed and energised. Expect Renee’s classes to be inspiring, upbeat and full of fun new flows. Meet Ruby, our sweet and bubbly Pilates Instructor. Ruby loves all things Pilates and Barre and is an advocate for the importance of movement for physical and mental Health. Ruby first discovered Pilates after an Illness and believes in the ability of Pilates to reconnect with your body and became a Pilates instructor to personally share the joy and healing she found in Pilates with others. Following a “Health at every size philosophy” Ruby believes that Pilates should be assessable for all. Her classes are unique, dynamic, upbeat and are infused with her background in Barre and Mat Pilates. Ruby is not only a certified Reformer Pilates Instructor but is a qualified Dietician. She has done extensive training and continues to develop her skills as a Pilates Instructor. Meet Gianni, a house favourite with her smiling face, calming voice yet killer classes. Gianni is not only a certified Reformer Pilates instructor but holds a Bachelor in Exercise and Sports Science. Coming from a very active family, Gi was destined to get into Fitness. Growing up Gi’s main focus was tennis and she represented NSW in school tournaments all over Australia. Unfortunately, Tennis came to an abrupt end for Gianni after a lengthy diagnosis came back that she had autoimmune arthritis. This is where Gianni found Pilates and quotes it as a “Life saver”. Gi personally uses Pilates herself as a low impact exercise to keep her strong and supple without further aggravating her joints. Since incorporating Pilates into her everyday routine Giannis says she looks and feels stronger, has much more energy and able to do much more with her body. Gianni takes a very personal approach to her classes and has a welcoming, friendly nature. You can expect a well-rounded full body workout that is fun, light hearted and never to serious.
